This summer, young artists are invited to spend their mornings creating, exploring, and having a ton of fun at The Space Below in downtown Westerly. We keep our classes small so every student receives thoughtful guidance and genuine one-on-one support, with Phebe working closely with each artist every step of the way.

Each week brings a new creative adventure. July 13–17 we journey UNDER THE SEA, July 27–31 we dream up bold stories and fantastical creatures in COMICS & CREATURES, and August 3–7 we blast off into OUTER SPACE.

Families may register for one week or make a season of it and join us for all three.

Each five-day session blends drawing, painting, sculpture, creative games, music, and movement into thoughtfully designed mornings that spark imagination and keep ideas flowing. Projects are open-ended, encouraging students to explore, experiment, and let their creativity shine.

All materials are included, with access to a wide range of quality supplies for drawing, painting, and sculpture that encourage experimentation across different techniques and mediums within a supportive, welcoming environment.

Camp takes place in our comfortable lounge space with riverside patio access in the heart of downtown Westerly. Parents are welcome to relax nearby, work remotely, or enjoy a little downtown time while camp is in session.
