AFTER SCHOOL ART CLUB
GRADES K-2 Tuesdays 4:00-5:15
GRADES 3-6 Wednsedays 4:00-5:15
$240 Per Student for 8-Week Program
The After School Art Club meets once a week for eight weeks, each session built around a unique theme explored through drawing, painting, and sculpture. Classes are small and personalized, with 10 or fewer students, giving each child space to experiment, create, and grow.
Each program offers new creative challenges and techniques, encouraging imagination and self-expression in a fun, supportive setting.
All classes are held in the P. Poppins Art Room at The Space Below in downtown Westerly.
At the end of each eight-week program, the experience culminates in a student art show at The Space, where young artists proudly share their work with family and friends.

FALL PROGRAM 2026
Cooking Up Masterpieces!
YUM! In this session, artists will use sculpture, collage, drawing, and painting to make their own versions of favorite foods and treats. Make a pop-art Pop-Tart, colorful cupcakes, super-stacked sandwiches, and more delicious-looking creations. Just don’t try to eat them! The session will end with a special closing party and art exhibition on Friday, December 4, during Downtown Westerly’s Art Crawl.
Classes are held in the P. Poppins Art Room at The Space Below in downtown Westerly, which also offers comfortable seating and river patio access for parents to relax or enjoy some free time.
